About AT&T

AT&T Business is the enterprise connectivity arm of one of the world's largest telecommunications companies. Publicly traded on NYSE (T) and headquartered in Dallas, Texas, AT&T employs approximately 160,000 people and serves nearly 3 million business customers worldwide. In the connectivity market, AT&T occupies a rare position: it is simultaneously a Tier 1 carrier, a broadband cable provider, a fiber provider, an aggregator, and an MVNO — a combination that no other provider in this analysis can fully match.

Portfolio Breadth

AT&T's connectivity portfolio spans the full spectrum of enterprise networking needs. Top connectivity products include Internet (dedicated and broadband), Wavelength (high-capacity optical transport), and Wireless services via AT&T's MVNO capability. Voice services extend across the complete enterprise toolkit: Mobility and Wireless Voice, POTS Replacement, PRI, SIP trunking, and UCaaS.

Public data services cover virtually every technology tier — 4G/LTE/5G, asymmetrical and symmetrical broadband, dedicated internet access (DIA), fixed wireless access, fixed wireless, and satellite connectivity at both high earth orbit and low earth orbit. For private networking, AT&T offers Private LTE/5G, MPLS, VPLS, and point-to-point private lines.

Cloud and SD-WAN

AT&T supports direct and global cloud connectivity to AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM, and Oracle, with additional integrations spanning 11:11 Systems, BluJeans, Box, Cisco, DXC, Equinix, Q365, Salesforce, and Virtustream. SD-WAN and SASE capabilities are delivered through partnerships with Cisco Meraki, Cisco SD-WAN, Fatpipe, HPE Aruba, and VeloCloud.

Global Reach

AT&T has sold connectivity services into 100+ countries with over 100 global Points of Presence and Global NOCs. Billing currencies are available on ICB (Individual Case Basis), providing flexibility for multinational deployments.

Key Acquisitions

Strategic acquisitions including AlienVault (security intelligence), DirecTV (satellite infrastructure), and Time Warner have expanded AT&T's capabilities across security, media, and content delivery — assets that increasingly support enterprise connectivity and security service offerings.

Key Differentiators

Nearly 3 million businesses worldwide. Full suite of managed connectivity, VPN, SD-WAN, UCaaS and Security services.
